I do think they are a very beneficial tool to use as a classroom resource.  It is a nice place where handouts, assignments, and other pertinent class information can be posted for my students.  Plus, students are able to carry on converstations on the wiki.  <br \/>\n<br \/>\nI think that once I get my students used to using a wiki outside of class, then I will work it into the classroom and into lessons. I think it is particularly interesting if we can have our students have a wiki-discussion with students from another school. For the marketing courses, I have created tables and had students post information.  My law students use the discussion feature to talk about various chapter-related topics.<br \/>\n<br \/>\nI have found that, especially for the disucssions, the wiki has allowed students to contribute who usually don't participate in class.  Many of the discussions are also opinion based. I also use it as a space for students to collaborate from home.
